CELL is the first ever made-for-mobile blockbuster; a twenty-part serial drama from Endemol and O2.

Released in two minute episodes, CELL tells the story of a man who wakes to find himself trapped in an isolated prison cell with no knowledge of how he got there or who is holding him prisoner. Subscribers are able to view the story in two, ten-part strands. One is set within the prison walls; the other is set in the dark, but hedonistic, underworld of the Columbian city of Bogota.

Both strands follow the journey of a man called Spence. Shot entirely on green screen and using computer generated imaging, CELL is unlike anything ever attempted for mobile before. It’s an exciting, sexy, complex adventure, with a dual-strand narrative designed to provoke discussion and debate amongst fans.
