ROAR RELOCATES TO A NEW HOME

Much-loved children’s show Roar is to return to CBBC from its new home at Longleat Safari Park in Wiltshire. Remarkable Television, an Endemol company will produce the series which takes children behind the scenes to meet some of the world’s most endangered animals and the keepers who care for them.

Presenters Johny Pitts and Rani Price will once again get up close to all the animals to make sure that viewers don't miss any of the safari park action.

The new series will continue to build on the hugely popular online ROAR game where children run their own interactive animal parks. Each day a different cheat code is broadcast on the show which unlocks new game features at www.bbc.co.uk/cbbc/roar

Series Producer Chris Powell says "ROAR is an enormously fun and popular show and we're delighted to be bringing children a whole new range of animals and stories from our new location"

CBBC Controller, Damian Kavanagh, adds "The Roar TV show and website are much loved by our audience and I'm looking forward to seeing it settled in its new home. I'm sure it will continue to excite the CBBC viewers with a whole host of new animals and characters'"."

Roar was commissioned by Damian Kavanagh, Controller, CBBC, and is Executive Produced for Remarkable Television by Annette Clarke and Series Produced by Chris Powell. Melissa Hardinge is the Executive Producer for the BBC.
