8 Out Of 10 Cats

8 Out of 10 Cats is a weekly panel show on Channel 4 based around a huge series of opinion poll surveys carried out around Britain.

These opinion polls are not just for trivial stuff like voting intentions, or attitudes to the Euro. These polls designed to root out the more important issues of the day, like "What do you prefer, Kittens or Christmas?" There'll be topical stuff, unusual stuff, showbiz stuff, ridiculous stuff, and - whatever the question - 8 out of 10 Cats will reveal the incontestable, incontrovertible answer to it.

Stand by for an irreverent, irrelevant, revealing, knockabout half hour as two teams of fearless celebrities compete to see who best understands what's really going on in today's Britain.

Hosted by Jimmy Carr and featuring team captains Sean Lock and Jon Richardson, the show uses existing polls and ones specially commissioned, all cunningly designed to set off endless pointless arguments, which let's face it, can only be a good thing.
