Big Brother

Big Brother is one of the world's most successful television brands and with 28 series set to air in 87 countries in 2011 its global popularity shows no sign of abating.

This mould-breaking series was the UK's first fully interactive mass TV experience and remains the most successful ‘360 degree' programme to date.

The format, which has been hailed as the ‘godfather of reality shows', shuts away total strangers in a purpose-built house, cut off from any contact with the outside world. Cameras spy on them 24/7 while they live, cook, eat and sleep together.

Each week housemates must nominate each other for eviction and viewers vote on who stays; ultimately choosing one winning housemate in the final show.

The BAFTA winning series continues to be a hit across TV, online and social media as well as generating front page headlines.
