The Million Pound Drop hosted by Davina McCall, is a high jeopardy game show where contestants can win - or lose - life-changing amounts of money live on TV.

Filmed in a highly secure location, contestants are given their prize of a million pounds at the top of the show. All they have to do is keep a hold of it by answering 8 questions.

Put money on the right answer and it’s taken through to the next question. Put money on one of the wrong answers and the trapdoor opens. Any money on it drops through the floor and is lost forever.
