Initial is one of the UK's leading entertainment content creators and producers.
The company is behind large scale productions such as Total Wipeout (BBC One) and Soccer Aid. Other hit shows include Big Brother (Channel 5) and Dating in the Dark (Living). Upcoming shows from Initial include Jedward's Big Adventure (CBBC).
Award winning programmes Total Wipeout and Dating in the Dark, both of which were originally hits in the USA, have quickly secured their positions as must see TV in the UK. Total Wipeout, based on Endemol's global blockbuster has become a Saturday night favourite on BBC One since its launch in 2009, whilst Dating in the Dark is hugely popular with Living's target audience.
Children's programming is a core part of Initial's output and the company is behind successful shows such as Paradise Café (CBBC) and I Can Cook (CBeebies).
Initial has firmly established relationships with leading talent and utilises these for key programmes including Total Wipeout Celebrity Special (BBC One) and Soccer Aid (ITV1, ITV4). The star studded football event Soccer Aid first launched in 2006 and has raised over £6 million for UNICEF's work with children around the world.
Initial has a long running partnership with Camelot to produce The National Lottery Draws (BBC One) and works closely with corporate clients on advertiser funded projects.
