Annabel Jones

Managing Director

Formerly Endemol UK's Head of Business Development, Annabel has been Managing Director of Zeppotron since July 2004.

In early 2003 she was instrumental in Zeppotron winning the two-year comedy content deal with 3 (formerly Hutchison 3G), the first commission for original content on 3G phones in the UK.

Annabel also previously headed up Endemol UK's M & A team and worked on strategy for the UK group. She first joined Endemol UK in 2001 after a two-year stint as Business Analyst at The Mill and Mill Film Group.

As Zeppotron's Managing Director she has overseen successful comedy shows such as 8 Out of 10 Cats (Channel 4); Spoons (Channel 4); Law of the Playground (Channel 4) and Charlie Brooker's Screenwipe (BBC Four).

Charlie Brooker

Co-Founder

Charlie Brooker has worked as a writer, journalist, cartoonist, TV and radio presenter.  He was the creator of the hugely successful website TV Go Home and his television writing credits include the Brass Eye Special and Nathan Barley, a comedy drama, which he co-wrote with Chris Morris.

Brooker is also well-known for his weekly columns in The Guardian - his Monday column and Screen Burn, a TV review column  which won him The Press Awards Columnist of the Year in 2009.

His BBC Four TV review show, Charlie Brooker's Screenwipe, which he writes and presents is critically acclaimed and spawned spin off series Newswipe with Charlie Brooker. This RTS winning and Bafta nominated series exposes the inner workings of news media and the way the news is presented to us.

Charlie also wrote Dead Set, a BAFTA-nominated satirical horror drama for E4 and Channel 4.

Ben Caudell

Co-Founder and Creative Director

Ben Caudell was a journalist for Time Out before becoming a writer on The Jack Docherty Show (Five) and The Eleven O'Clock Show (Channel 4).

He has also written for Aardman Animation's Rex the hunter (BBC Two), Angus Deayton (BBC One), Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie (BBC One).

For Zeppotron his credits include producer on the two series of The Law of the Playground, writer on 8 Out of 10 Cats, You Have Been Watching and Spoons. Co-creator and producer on Space Cadets - all for Channel 4, and creator of CelebAir for ITV2.

Most recently he co-executive produced the Alternative Election Night for Channel 4.

Peter Holmes

Co-Founder and Creative Director

Peter Holmes has written for The Observer, The Evening Standard, The 11 0'Clock show (Channel 4), Rex the Runt (Aardman animation for BBC Two), Angus Deayton (BBC One), Denise Van Outen (Channel 4) and Attachments (BBC Two).

His ten part satirical animation series People's Britain (Channel 4) won best comedy at the British Animation Awards 2001.

Peter has executive produced two series of the hit panel show Would I Lie to You? (BBC One).

Other recent credits for Zeppotron include writer on 8 Out of 10 Cats and writer and producer of People's Book of Records and Spoons, all for Channel 4.

Neil Webster

Co-Founder and Creative Director

Neil Webster has written for The Sketch Show (ITV's prime time sketch show), The 11 O'clock Show (Channel 4), Gas! (Channel 4), Something For The Weekend (Denise Van Outen's show for Channel 4), Attachments (BBCTwo), TV Go Home (E4) and Unnovations (Play UK).

He also worked as Script Editor for The 11 o'Clock Show and Unnovations.

Other recent credits for Zeppotron include producer on comedy sketch show, Rush Hour (BBC Three), writer on 8 Out of 10 Cats and writer and producer of People's Book of Records and Spoons, all for Channel 4.
